ALPLM Reading Club: Coraline
Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum
The ALPLM Reading Club invites you to read Neil Gaiman’s Coraline! Stuck at home and inside on a dreary day, Coraline Jones explores the new flat she shares with her family only to discover an alternate universe through a mysterious corridor where the feisty, fearless heroine battles rats, roaches, and the ultimate foe – boredom!
Just in time for Halloween, our spooky selection for this month features creepy descriptions, heart pounding suspense, and (possibly) bone-chilling illustrations. If you’re interested in a thrill, a chill, and good conversation, join us for this discussion. If you want to avoid the illustrations, be sure to check out the audio version. School-aged children have the opportunity to read a book and discuss it with others in a virtual coffee-club type discussion.
