Best of Illinois History Awards Banquet and ISHS Annual Meeting

Join us for a celebration of Illinois history and the people that help tell the story of the Prairie State. Dinner and awards banquet in Menard County, Illinois, home of the New Salem State Historic Site. 

Social hour: 6-7 p.m.
Dinner: 7-7:50 p.m.
ISHS Annual Meeting: 7:50
Awards Presentations: 8 p.m.

Tickets: $40 for members, $50 for nonmembers until April 1. $45 for members and $55 for nonmembers thereafter. For reservations, call 217-525-2518. No walk-ins accepted.

Free guided tour of New Salem State Historic Site at 2 p.m. for all guests and ISHS members. Donations accepted. Meet at New Salem Visitors Center at 1:45 p.m. to take the tour.

Lodging available: We have reserved a dozen rooms for our 2019 Best of Illinois History Awards Banquet guests at Riverbank Lodge, 522 South 6th Street, Petersburg, IL (Map), 217-632-0202. Reservations required by March 26. All unbooked rooms released on March 27.
