The Grafton Rendezvous

Come to Grafton and get a taste of what frontier life was like before 1840.  See blacksmiths, trappers, Native Americans, traders and settlers demonstrate life on the western frontier. See period crafts, throw tomahawks, and take in the breathtaking site of tepees along the river.

At the Grafton Rendezvous the traders, craftsmen, and artisans bring you the finest examples and 18th century trade goods, art, and various other products in the area.

Our reenactment offers two full "Trader' Rows" to accommodate all the tradesmen and craftsman who attend our event. From hand thrown pottery and hand made soap to hand forged black smith products and hand made fur hats...and everything in between... It's all waiting for you up on the river.

Among the goods you will see for sale there will be....

Beads, bead work, knives, tomahawks, leather goods, pottery, mugs, period clothing, wool blankets, real fur hats bags and garments, toys, soap, and muzzle loading accessories. Come take a piece of history home with you from the Grafton Rendezvous!

One of the best, and definitely the tastiest, parts of the Grafton Rendezvous are the period food vendors. These great reenactors create delicious period treats and meals (all be it with a modern twist some times) at great prices. In the past we've had kettle corn, homemade root beer, fry bread, tacos, pies fresh lemonade, turkey legs, bison burgers, and a whole lot more. So come see us at the Grafton Rendezvous, you won't leave hungry!

Free to the public!

Free camping for participants! (plentiful wood, water provided)
