Illinois History Forum - Looking for Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum

Join Sarah Watson, the executive director of the “Looking for Lincoln” project, as she takes you on a journey of the 43-county Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area. You’ll learn how the project helps to tell the story of Lincoln's almost 30 years in Illinois in communities where Lincoln worked, traveled, and lived. You’ll discover that Abraham Lincoln’s influence on Illinois extended nearly from one end of the state to the other, well before he emerged into the national spotlight as our 16th President. This is targeted to a general audience interested in learning about historic and tourism opportunities in Illinois.
