**CANCELLED** James Olson: Traitors I Have Known
Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum
Some did it for money. Others for ego. Even sex! Whatever the motivation, they were all traitors and you’ll hear the real stories when James Olson, former Chief of CIA Counterintelligence, takes you into the world of espionage as he lived it during his 31-year undercover career. This special presentation is being held in conjunction with Spies, Traitors, Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America, the traveling exhibit from the International Spy Museum, now on display at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum.
“Traitors I Have Known” is the theme for James Olson’s gripping discussion of his personal experiences with American spies who betrayed our country. Mr. Olson will reveal why these traitors did what they did, how they operated, and how they got caught.
Prior to his presentation, James Olson will be signing copies of his new book, To Catch a Spy: The Art of Counterintelligence, available for purchase from our museum store. Book availability not guaranteed if not purchased during the pre-sale window ending 05/11/2020. Tickets may be purchased here. E-TICKET MUST BE PRESENTED FOR ENTRY (printed or on digital device).
Book signing will be at 6:00pm. Presentation will be at 6:30pm. The museum's newest exhibit, Spies, Traitors, and Saboteurs: Fear and Freedom in America will be open for viewing.
