Junior Historians Summer Reading Club (Intermediate) Virtual Event
Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum
The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum invites youth to join us this summer in a virtual (via Zoom) reading club as we discuss books about the world we share. Our hope is to provide relevant books that allow youth to engage with our staff and their peers around topics that are important to them. Our promise is a safe space where youth can think, discuss their ideas, challenge assumptions, and (hopefully) grow a little based on what we read. We also promise to remember it’s summer and keep it fun!
Our Intermediate book selection for July is Jason Reynolds’s, Look Both Ways: A Tale Told in 10 Blocks. To learn more about the book, please see the Common Sense Media review.
A Note to Parents and Caregivers -- Before registering your child for this event, please review the Summer Reading Club website for information related to book selections and discuss our expectations for participation with your child.
