Little Lincoln's (Virtual) Fireside Tales: Kids and Voting

Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum

Special Children's Storytime Explains the Importance of Voting

We know kids are hearing a whole bunch of talk about voting and elections these days, so tune in to a special Little Lincoln’s Fireside Tales Facebook Live  on Tuesday, October 13th at 10:00 a.m. to learn all about why we vote, how we vote, and why you should exercise your right to vote!

Our story time will be led by ALPLM Educator Corrine Claycomb with a special visit by Jennifer Hodge from the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Little Lincoln's (Virtual) Fireside Tales invites children five years old and younger (or any child who enjoys story time) to share in an exciting virtual story time, along with some sing-along songs and at-home arts and crafts activities to do after the event.

To watch this special Facebook LIVE! event on the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum Facebook page, just go to Facebook and open our page at the appointed time and scroll to the post highlighting the live event. Once you’re there, simply click on the image and watch the live video stream.
