Homegrown Rock-N-Roll
Wednesday, October 5
Lance Tawzer, director of exhibits and shows at the Abraham Lincoln Library and Museum, will speak to the state's proud ad vibrant history of homegrown music and classic rock-n-roll bands from Illinois.

Abolition and Archaeology
Wednesday, October 26
Dr. Jenny Barker-Devine, professor of history and department chair at Illinois College, will present on Edward Beecher, a descendant of the Beecher family, whose generations of clergy, educators, authors and artists advocated for abolitionism, temperance, and women's rights.
Dr. Terrance Martin, researcher, archivist and emeritus curator of anthropology, Illinois State Museum, will present on New Philadelphia and African American Archaeology in Central Illinois.

History of Washington Park
Tuesday, December 6
Terri Noel, publisher and owner of Encore Consulting and Publishing will co-present with Curtin Mann, author, curator, and librarian, on the history and founding families of Washington Park, located in Springfield, IL.
