Fall Lunch & Learn Series: Lake Springfield and Illinois Stories

UIS Alumni SAGE Society & Illinois State Historical Society

Author and librarian Curtis Mann will present The History of Lake Springfield, speaking to the origins, considerations and influences which created a unique municipal, recreational, and residential community along the lake’s shores.

Award-winning media writer and producer Mark McDonald will present Outtakes from Illinois Stories, speaking to his firsthand experiences and storytelling as the two-decade host of the Emmy award-winning series.
