Nancy Salefski, Graphic Designer at William Street Press in Decatur, Illinois, has served as artistic director for the Illinois State Historical Society and designer for Illinois Heritage magazine since it was established in 1997, and also as designer for The Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society from 1998-2011.


Nancy has consistently elevated the Society’s publications to the highest standards, visually showcasing the work of professional and amateur historians, photographers, artists, students and teachers andhas been an invaluable yet unofficial member of the ISHS publications team for more than twenty-five years, overseeing the design and production of more than 150 issues of Illinois Heritage magazine.
