Do you know about great teaching resources that feature Illinois History??
The Illinois State Historical Society is working to build an Education page that will serve as a statewide hub for teaching Illinois history as well as create original lesson plans that dig into the rich histories of our state.
We invite educators, museums, historic sites, cultural organizations, and independent scholars to submit links to lesson plans and other classroom-ready teaching materials related to Illinois history. Materials may be designed for K 12, higher education, or community learning settings.

At this stage, we are collecting descriptive information about existing resources to better understand and highlight the range of educational work happening across the state. Submission does not imply endorsement or guarantee inclusion. If you have developed teaching materials connected to Illinois history, please consider sharing your good work!
